  • Foundation Degree in Ophthalmic Science &Technology
Castle College Nottingham opened its doors in September 2006 to the first intake of students on the Ophthalmic Foundation Degree programme. City of Westminster College in London opened its programme in September 2007. At long last the UK now has accredited education and training programmes for Ophthalmic Science Practitioners and other professional staff who undertake ophthalmic assessments and investigations.
